Northeast Texas Scanner

Northeast Texas Scanner is an online social network of volunteers who listen to actual scanners to report alerts from around Northeast Texas.  Founded in September 2011 after the extremely busy wildfire season in Northeast Texas, my main goal is to create a central place for breaking news and alerts for Northeast Texas for residents wanting to stay alert to what is going on in their community.  

Types of incidents that we report:  Fires, Accidents, Rescues, Wildfires, Weather Alerts, & Breaking News.

While we do try to listen and post as much info as we can, please keep mind that sometimes we can not be around our scanners at all times.  If you know of something going on you can always e-mail us, post on our Facebook page, or send us a tweet, and we will post it and you will receive the credit or you can opt to remain anonymous.
