Have you ever wondered what some of the abbreviations your hear us use of our feeds stand for?  We will do our best to answer those questions for you here on this page.  If something is not on this page that you have a question about, just ask us!

CR- County Road
FD-Fire Department
LZ- Landing Zone for a helicopter (usually done by the fire department to secure a landing area for the helicopter)
PD- Police Department
PR- Private Road
S/O- Sheriff's Office
MM- Mile Marker
M/A- Mutual Aid (help between fire departments to help in larger incidents where more resources are needed.) 
NB- North Bound
SB- South Bound
WB- West Bound
EB-  East Bound
DPS- Texas Department of Public Safety (State Troopers)
MVA- Motor Vehicle Accident
MVC- Motor Vehicle Collision
TFS- Texas Forest Service 
TMF- Trinity Mother Frances (TMF Hospital) (mostly used on our page for TMF Flight For Life helicopter stationed in TMF Hospital in Tyler)
VFD- Volunteer Fire Department

ETMC- East Texas Medical Center (ETMC Hospital) (ETMC EMS and ETMC Air 1 helicopters)
ETMC Air 1 North stationed at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant
ETMC Air 1 Central stationed at ETMC Tyler hospital
ETMC Air 1 West stationed at ETMC Athens hopsital
